What I expected to be a bodice ripper turned out to be a fun romp of a saga gone awry. Two kickass females and a slew of virile, enormous males makes this a fun read. Not at all the lame, shrinking violets getting trampled beneath sadistic and vengeful boots. Plus there's some fun brawling and merrymaking which just makes me smile. Can't help it if that's my idea of a good time.
