A well-wrought thoroughly explored story. Having read a few of Joseph's novels I see a trajectory of growth and expansion that makes reading the earlier works just as pleasurable as later, more sophisticated works. Lovers of "Owning Wednesday" will see broad similarities, but the actual plots are widely divergent. Story shows an intense relationship between two people. A loving Dom and a resilient sub working through a relationship. This is probably one of my favorites aspects, the evolution of the relationship for both parties.
