I wanted to like this more than I did. Unfortunately, the characters had some moments that seemed unjustified or out of character. Two survivor kids all grown up who keep going back for another helping of bullshit and finding each other was slightly gritty, but believable. The interplay between them and the third they find while enjoying a little bit of exhibitionism is supernova hot, but a crucial plot point was ridiculous and I didn't buy into it for two of the three. There's room left at the end of a sequel; I'd be tempted to read it.
