Well, the conclusion was a bit hasty, but since this is written as a series with the overall conflict not to be resolved until the end one has to deal with the disappointment of no resolution there. That said, Devlin and Laurel (our fearless protagonists)managed to find their HEA. I wish it hadn't been so frantically tied up. Seriously, this ending is the plummet and you stare up from the ground wondering what happened and it's over. The epilogue leads you into book #2 which of course I want to read since the author left me on tenderhooks. *Grumble, grumbleA good read.
