This was a pretty cool read. I wasn't expecting as much as I got and the set up for a sequel to Jack and D's story is more than tempting. What's for me not to like; you have one assassin going on a rampage when the cross hairs suddenly get adjusted. Great action, touching emotions and solid characters. Ironically, it is one of the main character's lack of depth or near Mary Sue quality that detracts from the story. Oh, and the extreme dialect used for D. Nonetheless, I am looking for to the sequel in hopes that Jack evolves.Favorite quotes:D-- Sometimes he thought he should, just to keep up the appearance of being part of the human race.Jack--He’d misremembered a few details that now felt more real in the incorrect recollection than here in reality.
