Endearingly funny. Nik is prickly and Jurgen is stalwart which if you're in his shoes and pursuing Nik is required. Very adroit handling of race and homosexuality in small town America from different viewpoints, but never heavy-handed or preachy. Quite clever.Kudos to Sam, Nik's best friend.
