City Mouse: Country Mouse Series, Book 2

City Mouse - Amy Lane, Aleksandr Voinov Even better than the first. Maybe it's the cynic in me, but I prefer the ugly reality of life smacking you around a bit to the glitter of "honeymoon romances". Here Malcolm and Owen hit it head on and I like how they battle it out. Neither is going to give until they realize what's important to them, truly valuable. Malcolm's still an arrogant ass, and I love him. Hate the real life personality, but in a story--golden boy.Owen is steady, strong and saintly patient. How he wrangles Malcolm around is pure delight. Speaking of delight, the men are even more hot mess sexy with loveliness--museum trip and late night hamburger ;)Favorite quote:“I want . . . I want to never have to check for your passport to know whether you’re coming back.”
