Makes you think about first impressions and how we are often prejudice even if we don't realize it. I liked the premise and Caden and Kevin's characters, the miscommunication trope, not so much. That and, anyone who had a friend like Bobby should not be surprised when the hand plays out the way it does. One smack upside Caden's head for being stupid and trusting asses and a second one for not attacking the problem head on with Kevin. And Kevin earns one smack for being inconsiderate and vain with hyperstress puppy Caden. Done smacking. I liked the story and the theme, and enjoyed my time reading it.
