Long, but awesomely entertaining post-apocalyptic thriller.Sin and Boyd are damaged. Not a little bit, but just barely this side of irretrievable. Loved these guys and the fact that it isn't an easy ride for either of them. The evolution of their partnership is realistic if aggravatingly slow, but ooh-la-la when they finally click. Sweet mercy!I loved this journey, but honestly, a brutal editor could make this AMAZING. It is written as if you were watching the movie and while it is graphic and the pace moves realistically what can be captured with short 20 second clips is 20 pages--love it, but L--O--N--G. Plus the architectural details are so precise I feel I can map several buildings and the city of Monterrey. That said I never felt like I didn't want to read more. So if you're not intimidated by the word count this is worth it.All I can say is--I want the sequel.Favorite quote:"After all, a life without living was simply a death without dying.
