Snookered - S. Blaise 2.5 starsShort and fun. Nothing too serious, just a playful romp of American versus English going on here. Neil is enjoying the opportunity to drive the east coast before flying back across the Pond, and it is during one of his breaks that he stops to play a game. Paul is shooting pool and circling for a new opponent. He spies Neil and moves in.It's entertaining enough play off the differences in the two sports of pool and snooker along with some language. This is a taster size story that leaves you with a smile. If you like word play and conversational flirting this is quite nice. Just don't expect some grand romance or bouncing off the walls sex. Oh, not sure who was in charge of the cover art, but behind homebase for a snooker/pool story? I get that it is part of an anthology, but conceptually it doesn't work for a mixed sports collection.~~ A copy was provided to me for a No Glitter Blown review~~Reviewed for Hearts On Fire Reviews
