Liked the writing more than the format. Written as three separate, yet entwined vignettes, the book is done well, but reads more like short stories than a novel. I don't favor the short story format, so some my find this book more to their liking than me. Michaels' prose is well written, the characters are engaging, the plots are outside the average regency sphere, and I really did like her style. I would love to read a novel by her that is written as a integrated whole. Off to see whether my quarry exists.
