Continuing the action/suspense theme of the last novel in the series, this one finds Raoul his match. There is a smorgasbord of characters revisting and the opening of future possible storylines--including the feisty and vivacious Sally. Woot. Plus, Master Sam really comes into his own here and seems far less cardboard and the default counterpoint to the softer, psychological doms. Why not a 5? Honestly, I'm not sure. Partly, because there is almost too much competition from other characters and storylines. Overall, highly enjoyable, then again, I do like the action/suspense carry-over from Gabi and Marcus' novel.
