Bittersweet, coming of age menage a trois tale. Very nicely done for a short story, but in some ways I wished it could have been longer. Yet, to be fair I do respect the choice. This story reminds me of remembering a perfect summer--hyperconcentrated, neverending in one's mind, and life-changing. That said, there is a staccato to the storytelling. It works well with the first person POV, but I found distracting at times, purely a personal preference issue. As the reader, even as first person, you are clearly an outsider just as Elizabeth is.
